Privacy Policy

Effective 18 August 2026

House of Chaos (“House of Chaos”, “CHAOS”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly and transparently. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, share and protect information when you visit shophouseofchaos.com, join our private list, communicate with us, interact with our campaigns or otherwise engage with House of Chaos.

House of Chaos is an Egypt-based swimwear and resortwear brand. For privacy enquiries, contact hello@shophouseofchaos.com.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide directly. Depending on the form, campaign or interaction, we may collect your first name, email address, optional telephone or WhatsApp number, general location, product or collection interests, style, fit, coverage or colour preferences, preferred ways of discovering House of Chaos, messages, notes and your communication preferences.

Information collected through the private-list form. The current private-list form collects your email address, optional first name and your consent to receive launch, waitlist and product updates.

Technical and attribution information. When you use the site, we may process information such as IP address, browser and device information, operating system, pages viewed, referring page, landing page, approximate geographic information derived from an IP address, date and time of visits, referral codes, campaign attribution parameters such as UTM values, submission identifiers, performance information and interactions with website features.

2. How we use your information

  • To operate, secure and improve the House of Chaos website.
  • To manage the House of Chaos private list and waitlist.
  • To provide early access, launch announcements, private previews and product updates you requested.
  • To understand interest in products, styles, locations and experiences.
  • To inform future collections, releases, events and pop-ups.
  • To understand how visitors discover and use the website and measure campaign performance.
  • To prevent duplicate, fraudulent, abusive or automated submissions.
  • To maintain consent, security and operational audit records.
  • To respond to enquiries and requests.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations and protect our legal rights.

We do not use your personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects through fully automated processing.

3. Marketing communications

Joining the House of Chaos private list requires your agreement to receive House of Chaos launch, waitlist and product updates by email. Where required by law, we rely on your consent before sending electronic marketing communications.

You may withdraw consent at any time by using an unsubscribe option included in a communication, where available, or by contacting hello@shophouseofchaos.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before your withdrawal.

We do not sell your contact information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Product and preference information

Some House of Chaos forms or campaigns may invite you to provide information about preferred products, colours, styles, coverage, location or shopping and discovery preferences. We may use this information to understand our audience, shape future collections, determine which products or experiences may be most relevant, plan launches and improve how House of Chaos communicates with its audience.

Providing preference information is optional unless a form clearly states otherwise.

5. Legal bases for processing

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we process personal information on one or more of the following bases:

  • Consent — for example, when you join the private list or consent to certain communications or tracking activities.
  • Performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract — where necessary to provide something you request.
  • Legitimate interests — where we have a legitimate business reason to operate, secure, analyse or improve House of Chaos and those interests do not override your rights.
  • Legal obligations — where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
  • Legal claims — where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

6. Cookies, analytics and similar technologies

The website may use technical logs, cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality, security, performance monitoring, aggregate analytics, campaign measurement and permitted preferences.

The governed website analytics layer measures interactions such as page views, scroll depth, waitlist-button clicks, form starts and confirmation views without intentionally creating a persistent visitor profile, and is designed to respect browser Do Not Track signals. Cloudflare may also process standard request, performance and security information as the website’s hosting and security provider.

Where applicable law requires consent before non-essential tracking technologies are activated, those technologies should not be used until the required consent has been obtained. Browser settings may also allow you to restrict or remove cookies, although disabling essential technologies may affect site functionality.

7. Service providers

We use trusted service providers to operate the website and private-list workflow. These currently include:

  • Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, security and aggregate traffic analytics.
  • Supabase for governed consent, event and waitlist data.
  • Airtable for operational CRM and workflow records.

We may also use providers supporting email delivery, communications, analytics, campaign management and technical infrastructure. Providers may process information only as required to deliver their services to us and subject to their applicable contractual and data-protection obligations.

8. Sharing of personal information

We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose personal information to service providers working on our behalf; professional advisers where reasonably necessary; authorities where required by law or lawful process; where necessary to investigate fraud, abuse or security incidents; where necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of House of Chaos or others; or as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing or transfer of all or part of the House of Chaos business, subject to appropriate protections.

9. International data transfers

Some technology providers used by House of Chaos may store or process information outside Egypt or outside the country in which you live. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure that transfers are handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements and that appropriate safeguards are used where required.

10. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including legal, operational, security, accounting and record-keeping requirements.

  • Private-list and marketing information may be retained while you remain subscribed.
  • Preference information may be retained while it remains relevant to product, audience or customer research.
  • Correspondence may be retained where needed to manage enquiries or maintain business records.
  • Technical, security and consent records may be retained for appropriate operational and audit periods.

If you withdraw consent or validly request deletion, we will delete or anonymise information where required unless we have another lawful reason or legal obligation to retain it.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on the law applicable to you, you may have rights to:

  • know whether we process your personal information;
  • obtain information about how it is used;
  • request access to your information;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion of information;
  • withdraw consent;
  • object to or request restriction of certain processing;
  • request portability of information where applicable; and
  • lodge a complaint with an appropriate data-protection authority.

To exercise a privacy right, contact hello@shophouseofchaos.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse. No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

13. Children’s privacy

House of Chaos does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children in circumstances where parental or guardian consent would be legally required. If we become aware that children’s personal information has been collected contrary to applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete or appropriately handle that information.

14. Third-party websites and social media

House of Chaos may link to or interact with third-party websites and social-media platforms. Those services operate under their own privacy policies and terms. House of Chaos is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party services.

If you interact with House of Chaos through a social-media platform, both House of Chaos and the relevant platform may process information associated with that interaction.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the website, products, technology providers, processing activities or applicable legal requirements. When material changes are made, we will update the effective date shown above and provide additional notice where required.
